Earl Echelberry Memorial Scholarship
Opportunity Information
This scholarship was established in memory of Earl Echelberry to assist students with a passion for Photography.
Qualifications
- Applicant must have completed at least one Photography course at San Jose City College by the end of the current semester.
- Applicant’s cumulative GPA must be a 3.00 minimum.
- Applicant must currently be enrolled as a full-time student (i.e. enrolled in at least 12 units).
Essay & Submission Requirements
- Write a brief statement on what photography means to you. (100 – 300 words)
- Submit a portfolio of at least 4 photographs taken by the applicant.

- By checking this box, you acknowledge that applicants awarded a scholarship will be required to attend an in-person award ceremony hosted on campus at San Jose City College. Attendance at the award ceremony will be mandatory for all scholarship recipients, unless the student has a class scheduled during the time of the ceremony or if the student has an extenuating circumstance. You also acknowledge that you will be required to submit a "Thank-You Letter" to the donor(s) providing the scholarship opportunity.
