Qualifications

  • Applicant’s cumulative GPA must be a 3.0 minimum.
  • Applicant must currently be enrolled as a full-time student (i.e. enrolled in at least 12 units).

Essay & Submission Requirements

  1. Applicant must submit a copy of their Educational Plan.
  2. Describe how you have overcome challenges and obstacles in your life to achieve your educational goals. (1 – 2 pages, double-spaced)

  1. You must have an Educational Plan developed by your SJCC Counselor to be eligible for this scholarship. Please upload a copy of your ed-plan.

  3. By checking this box, you acknowledge that applicants awarded a scholarship will be required to attend an in-person award ceremony hosted on campus at San Jose City College. Attendance at the award ceremony will be mandatory for all scholarship recipients, unless the student has a class scheduled during the time of the ceremony or if the student has an extenuating circumstance. You also acknowledge that you will be required to submit a "Thank-You Letter" to the donor(s) providing the scholarship opportunity.
