Associated Students Dreamers Transfer Student Scholarship

Opportunity Information
This scholarship was established by SJCC Associated Students for students that will be transferring to a four-year university in the upcoming Fall semester. Students of all statuses are encouraged to apply for this scholarship opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Applicant must be transferring to a four-year university in the upcoming Fall semester.
  • Applicant must have completed at least 12 units at San Jose City College.
  • Applicant’s cumulative GPA must be a 2.50 minimum.
  • Applicant must currently be enrolled at least as a half-time student (i.e. enrolled in at least 6 units).

Essay Requirement
Provide an essay discussing how your educational journey and future goals will have a positive impact on Dreamer communities. (100 – 300 words)

  4. By checking this box, you acknowledge that applicants awarded a scholarship will be required to attend an in-person award ceremony hosted on campus at San Jose City College. Attendance at the award ceremony will be mandatory for all scholarship recipients, unless the student has a class scheduled during the time of the ceremony or if the student has an extenuating circumstance. You also acknowledge that you will be required to submit a "Thank-You Letter" to the donor(s) providing the scholarship opportunity.
