Opportunity Information
This scholarship recognizes a San Jose City College student for their engagement in community service on or off campus. Recipient must be transferring to a four-year university in the upcoming Fall semester.
Scholarship recipient will be invited to a dinner hosted by the donor, Pedro Pallares.
Qualifications
- Applicant’s cumulative GPA must be a 3.50 minimum.
- Applicant must be transferring to a four-year university in the upcoming Fall semester.
Essay Requirement

- By checking this box, you acknowledge that applicants awarded a scholarship will be required to attend an in-person award ceremony hosted on campus at San Jose City College. Attendance at the award ceremony will be mandatory for all scholarship recipients, unless the student has a class scheduled during the time of the ceremony or if the student has an extenuating circumstance. You also acknowledge that you will be required to submit a "Thank-You Letter" to the donor(s) providing the scholarship opportunity.
