Debra Eberle Memorial Scholarship
Opportunity Information
Award is for a student in the Dental Assisting program. Applicants will be recommended by the SJCC Scholarship Committee to the Dental Assisting faculty, who will select the final recipient.
Qualifications
- Applicant must be a first-year Dental Assisting student and a U.S. citizen.
- Applicant must be a single parent with a child under the age of 18.
- Applicant’s cumulative GPA must be a 3.5 minimum.

- Write a statement explaining your financial need. Please include if you are currently employed and working your way through college. (250 – 500 words)

- By checking this box, you acknowledge that applicants awarded a scholarship will be required to attend an in-person award ceremony hosted on campus at San Jose City College. Attendance at the award ceremony will be mandatory for all scholarship recipients, unless the student has a class scheduled during the time of the ceremony or if the student has an extenuating circumstance. You also acknowledge that you will be required to submit a "Thank-You Letter" to the donor(s) providing the scholarship opportunity.
